James Robert Milne
James Robert Milne was born on 03 July 2006 at 12:43am! He weighed 3.3kg's (7lb 4oz) and was a healthy little boy. It was one of the best experiences of our lives and "how" it has changed us since then. The links on the left side of the page will give you a view of his progress month on month and then later year by year.
We can only describe the arrival of our first child as something we have been waiting for for a while, but never knew if we were actually ready for the responsibility of looking after a baby. The short answer probably is that one never really is and that you can only learn through being in the position!
During 2007 we were blessed with the most precious little boy. James is growing up into a lovely natured toddler and been nothing but a joy to us... he sleeps well, eats well and has been a healthy little boy.
James has also been extremely privileged during 2007 to have been looked after by a very special childminder - Jax. She has also played a huge part in moulding him into the little monkey that he is! He will miss the love and devotion she has given him when he goes to nursery in 2008.
This year I have continued to be a healthy, precious little monkey and have mostly enjoyed my time at nursery where I have made lots of new friends. Next year I am going to a new school where I hope to make some new friends again.
I am also expecting a baby brother! Wow, I will have to wait and see what this is going to be like because I have been used to having all of Mum and Dad's attention. I wonder if he will be as cute as me??
This year I have been at a new nursery which is great fun - its at the rugby club so we get to run on the big fields when the weather is nice. I have a lot of friends there and the teachers are nice too. As I am now 3 (nearly 4) I am getting ready to go to big school in September 2010... how exciting! I can count all the way past 30 now and am able to recognise most letters and even read some words. Let's not get ahead of myself though..
We had some wonderful holidays during the year, which included going to South Africa to meet my Australian cousins as well as spend time with all my other cousins. We had a lovely holiday at the beach with all the Bllore side of the family. but also spent time with the Milne family. I was a pageboy at Daddy's cousin, Derick & Leanie's wedding where I looked very grown up and had very important jobs to do!
In September I started big school and I quite like it. It was a bit different to start off with, but I am making friends there. I still miss my Carousel friends although I see them often too.
