Welcome to edandgill.com

As a result of Karyn & Dan's wedding being held in Italy, we decided to head that way in the new Ford Kuga to firstly attend the wedding and secondly holiday by camping wherever we wanted to! What a brilliant holiday!

Ice cream stop in France

French countryside, so beautiful and vast

Swiss Alps, somewhere near Luzern
Tunnels everywhere

Traffic flow control for the next tunnel...
Gotthard Tunnel... only 17km long!!

What about job creation??

Travelling is tiring, really.

Antica Torre, our Agritourismo for the wedding

Antica Torre farmwyard

My boys at the wedding

Bride & Groom coming out of the temple

The Milnes at the wedding

Group shot at the wedding

The getaway car - loving the flags!

View from the castle reception

Framed by the huge shuttered windows... and yes, Jack does look like he is trying to commit suicide!

James, on the other hand, kept himself entertained with 21st century gadgets!

Jack and Shaun blowing bubbles

Lovely wedding guests with the bride

Some of the ladies

Throwing of the bouquet

More beautiful Italian countryside

Dolomite mountains along the Tuscan coast

Our first campsite - St. Michael Campeggio, near Pisa

We're in Italy and we're having a braai!

So... the Leaning Tower of Pisa

I'm doing my best to hold it up!

The beautiful Duomo, which also leans ever so slighty

The spectacular cathedral, also leaning slightly

The surroundings

Jack fascinated by the drainage holes

James - disappoined that he could not go into the Leaning Tower (queues and limit of people allowed in)
The Cathedral

Beautiful artwork covered the walls of the cathedral

The dome, also painted

So much intricay and beauty
Again

Our beautiful big boy

Our Chicken Chops

James has taken to the water. Chuffed to bits with himself

Tuscany - medieval bridge

Very pretty indeed

The river

Lavanto - Cinque Terre, Italian Riviera

Our terraced campsite in Cinque Terre

Overlooking the vineyards

The terraces

Lavanto beach

Lavanto streets

Chilling at sunset

Campsite at Albisola (west of Genoa), Italian Riviera

Our view from the campsite, once again on terraces.

The beach at Albisola

The beach at Albisola, heading west
Mr Biscuit King

Both little boys enjoying the gentle Mediteranean sea
The rock that James wanted to jump off

There they go!

James so pleased with himself

Now Daddy has to rescue Jack

Jack completely randomly went and sat next to this man and struck up a conversation, and then copies him with the hand shading his eyes. Too funny.

The Principality of Monaco

Monte Carlo

Ferraris everywhere

The yacht basin. Serious money in this place...

View from where we lunched down near the harbour

All that glitz and glamour was too much!

Sunset at our campsite just outside Montpellier

Check this massive dragonfly!

Now this is camping...  Bordeaux

Lovely kiddies splash pool

Jack once again befriending a stranger... a German mummy
Exhaustion strikes again!

Cool dudes

Giles, the camping neighbour, enjoying the 2 little boys (he has 2 daughters)

Storytime
View down to the beach/lagoon

Europe's biggest sand dune!

Having a dip in the ocean

Very-bladdie-tiring walk back up from the beach
Sunset on our last evening in Bordeaux

Microlites over the lagoon

Relaxing with the view and sunset.
